Are You a Candidate for Low-Dose CT Lung Screening?

Important Statistics:

  • It is estimated that 80% of lung cancers are caused by smoking1

  • 1 in 14 people will be diagnosed with lung cancer in their lifetime.

  • Screening with low-dose CT can help detect lung cancer at its earliest stage, resulting in better outcomes.

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in the United States. Low-dose CT is a quick and painless screening tool that uses low doses of radiation, comparable to a mammogram, to make detailed images of your lungs. These images are used to detect lung cancer at its earliest stages.

You can complete a simple survey to find out if you are a good candidate for low-dose CT. If you are an appropriate candidate, we recommend speaking with your physician about making an annual low-dose CT lung screening exam part of your preventative medical care.

Medicare and most insurers are currently covering the cost of this study for qualified individuals. If CT lung screening is not covered by your insurance, please call us to discuss further self-pay options.
