New CT and PET/CT Technology Improves Patient Care at Four Centers
Advanced Radiology has upgraded two CT units and two PET/CT units to provide faster, more precise images for our patients. With this change, we now conveniently offer 16-slice CT at eight centers and permanent PET/CT machines at seven centers.
The new 16-slice CT equipment is now available at:
- St. Joseph Medical Center (Baltimore County)
- The Imaging Center at the Richard N. Dixon Building (Carroll County)
The six other Advanced Radiology centers offering 16-slice CT are:
- Aiello Center at Baltimore Washington Medical Center (Anne Arundel County)
- Physician Pavilion North (GBMC campus in Baltimore County)
- WhiteSquare Imaging Center (Baltimore County)
- Pomona Square (Baltimore County)
- Harford Imaging Center (Harford County)
- Crossroads Imaging Center (Howard County)
Permanent PET/CT units have replaced mobile units at:
- Harford Imaging Center (Harford County)
- Crossroads Imaging Center (Howard County)
The five other Advanced Radiology PET/CT centers are:
- Imaging Center at the Richard N. Dixon Building (Carroll County)
- Advanced PET Imaging of Maryland (Baltimore County)
- The Cancer Institute at St. Joseph Medical Center (Baltimore County)
- Medical Arts Building (Franklin Square campus in Baltimore County)
- The PET Center at Baltimore Washington Medical Center (Anne Arundel County)
