Baltimore, Maryland - Advanced Radiology is pleased to announce the recent appointment of John W. Ellis, C.P.A., to the newly created position of Director of Business Services. Mr. Ellis assumes the responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations of all non-clinical functions and developing business relationships in the metro area. In this role, he will interact closely with Radiologix Inc., one of the largest independent operators of free-standing radiology centers in the United States. Mr. Ellis will develop a new standard for service excellence, which can be replicated throughout the Radiologix family. Most recently, Mr. Ellis served as the Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, Maryland. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health, a position he will continue to fill. Prior to his tenure with St. Joseph Medical Center, Mr. Ellis held senior administrative positions with Maryland General Hospital, Sinai Hospital and Lee Hospital. He and his wife, Gloria, reside in Ellicott City and have two grown sons. Advanced
