Baltimore, Maryland - The area's leading radiology practice, Advanced
Radiology, is once again sponsoring a Radiology Technology Conference
on Sunday, October 21, 2001. All sonographers and technologists
are invited to attend. The conference will be held at the Marriott
Hunt Valley Inn from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. A certificate awarding
nine continuing education credits will be given at the seminar.
Topics
being addressed include: Congenital Malformations of the Brain by
Dr. Steven Breiter; Clinical Positron Emission Tomography by Dr.
Ethan Spiegler; Uterine Fibroid Embolization by Dr. Marcus Roffe;
Mammography by Dr. Rosy Singh; Safety in Health Care by Bill Graubau
from Maryland Occupational Safety & Health; PACS by Vickie Bedel
and Mark Laurent of Radiologix, Inc.; CT of Aortic and Chest Trauma
by Dr. Morris Gavant; and OB Ultrasound Screening and Congenital
Anomalies by Dr. Bennett Sweren.
Early
bird registration is $50 if postmarked by September 15, otherwise
registration is $60. A continental breakfast, beginning at 7:30
a.m., and lunch will be provided. Seating is limited so it is important
to register early. The registration deadline is October 10, 2001.
No on-site registrations can be accepted and no refunds will be
given.
