Four Radiologists at Advanced Radiology Named “Top Docs” by Baltimore Magazine

 
The November, 2009 issue of Baltimore Magazine named four radiologists practicing at Advanced Radiology as the best in their field. The doctors receiving this distinction are: Judy Destouet, M.D., FACR and Rosy Singh, M.D. as top doctors in breast imaging and Blair Andrew, M.D. and Loralie Ma, M.D. as top doctors in general radiology. The doctors are selected by a survey of their peers.
 
Dr. Destouet, Chief of Mammography at Advanced Radiology, also was named a Top Doc by Baltimore Magazine in 2005 and 2007, and she was named one of the Top 10 Women’s Imaging Specialists in the U.S. in 2006 by Medical Imaging.    
 
In addition to the four Advanced Radiology physicians, only two other Maryland radiologists were named Top Docs.   
 

Meet our Top Docs
 
Rightly considered one of the foremost mammographers in the country, Dr. Destouet has served as Chief of Mammography at Advanced Radiology since its inception in 1995. She received her medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine and completed her residency at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis. She is board certified in diagnostic radiology.
Dr. Singh is the co-director of Breast MRI at Advanced Radiology. After receiving her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine, she completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at Howard University Hospital. Dr. Singh then completed her fellowship in Breast Imaging at Georgetown University Hospital. She is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
Dr. Andrew specializes in body imaging and interventional radiology. After he graduated from Dartmouth Medical School, he completed his diagnostic radiology residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Andrew also completed a fellowship in MRI, Ultrasound, CT and General Radiology at Hopkins. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with added special competency in Vascular/Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Ma specializes in Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, Musculoskeletal MRI and Body Imaging. With a medical degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Dr. Ma then went on to complete her diagnostic radiology residency and her fellowship in Cross Sectional Imaging at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
