Zina Novak, M.D.
Dr. Novak is a 1984 graduate of Jan Evangelista Purkynje University Medical School, Czechoslovakia. She completed a residency in Family Medicine at Ounz, Czechoslovakia. Upon her arrival in the United States, Dr. Novak completed a residency in Radiology and a fellowship in cardiovascular and interventional radiology at the University of Tennessee. She has been board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology since 1993, and has been board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with Added Qualifications in Vascular and Interventional Radiology since 1999.

 

 

Allison Oldfield, M.D.
Dr. Oldfield currently serves as the Medical Director at the Advanced Radiology North Arundel Physicians Center. She is a 1983 graduate of Electrical Engineering and a 1987 graduate of the Ohio State University College of Medicine. She completed an internship at the Akron General Medical Center. Dr. Oldfield then completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical School, as well as a Cross-Sectional Imaging Fellowship at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. She has been board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology since 1993, and obtained a Certificate with Added Qualifications in Vascular and Interventional Radiology since 1999.

 

Bertun Ozgun, M.D.
Dr. Ozgun currently serves as the Medical Director of the Advanced Radiology Dixon Imaging Center. Dr. Ozgun graduated cum laude from University of Maryland Baltimore County, Catonsville, MD with a degree in chemistry in 1987. He earned his medical degree in 1991 from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. Dr. Ozgun performed his diagnostic radiology residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals, Chapel Hill, NC in 1995, and his body imaging fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 1996.

Dr. Ozgun’s certifications include: Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners (1992), Certified Interpreting Physician by the Mammography Quality Standards Act, and Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (1995). He is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, and the American College of Radiology.

 

 

Stephen Pomerantz, M.D.
Dr. Pomerantz currently serves as the Medical Director of the Advanced Radiology GBMC Pavilion North Imaging Center. He is a 1984 graduate of Emory University and a 1988 graduate of the University of Maryland Medical School. After completing an internship in General Surgery at Sinai Hospital, he completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology in 1993 and a fellowship in Ultrasound, CT and MRI I 1994 at the University of Maryland. He has been board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology since 1993. His special interests include breast imaging as well as cross sectional body imaging.

 

 

David Porter, M.D.
Dr. Porter is a 1985 graduate of the University of Maryland Medical School. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in 1986. He completed his first year of residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, and finished his last three years of training in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Maryland Medical System. He also completed a fellowship in Body Imaging at the University of Maryland Medical System in 1991. He has been board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology since 1990.

 

 

Richard Rosenbaum, M.D.
Dr. Rosenbaum is a 1977 graduate of the Emory University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Georgetown University Hospital and completed his fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Rosenbaum is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with special competency in Nuclear Medicine since 1982, and has been board certified in Nuclear Medicine by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine since 1984.

 

David Safferman, M.D.
Dr. Safferman currently serves as the Vice President/Treasurer of Advanced Radiology, as well as Medical Director of the Advanced Radiology Crossroads Imaging Center. He also serves as the Treasurer and on the Executive Board of the Maryland Radiological Society.

Dr. Safferman is a 1985 graduate of West Virginia University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at The George Washington University Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in MRI/CT/US at The Pennsylvania State University Medical Center in Hershey, PA. Dr. Safferman has been board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology since 1990. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

 

Charul Saini, M.D.
Dr. Saini currently serves as Medical Director of the Advanced Radiology Annapolis Imaging Center. She is a graduate of the Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. She completed a residency in Pediatrics at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. She also completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Saini has been board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology since 1996.
