Valeriano
Fugoso, M.D.
Dr. Fugoso currently serves as Chairman of Diagnostic Imaging at Carroll Hospital Center. He received his M.D. at the University of the Philippines in 1981. He attended the Methodist Hospital Radiology Residency, and completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center. Dr. Fugoso has completed two fellowships: the first in Body Imaging at the University of Rochester, followed by a Fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with added qualifications in Vascular and Interventional Radiology by the American Board of Radiology.

Morris
Gavant, M.D.
Dr. Gavant currently serves as the chairman of the Department of Radiology at Baltimore-Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Advanced Radiology.
Dr. Gavant received his M.D. from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA in 1980. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Tennessee, Memphis in 1984. He has been board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology since 1984. In 1995, he was among the first group of physician to receive certification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. In 1997, he received subspecialty certification in Neuroradiology.
Prior to joining Advanced Radiology in 2000, Dr. Gavant was a tenured Professor of Radiology and Urology at the University of Tennessee, Memphis and the Program Director of the Diagnostic Radiology residency and the Interventional Radiology fellowship programs. He was also director of body imaging and emergency radiology at the Elvis Presley memorial Trauma Center at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis.
He has published over fifty peer-reviewed research articles and given presentations at many national meetings. He is on the editorial advisory panel of the American Journal of Roentgenology and is a top reviewer for Radiology.

Gelman, M.D.
Dr. Gelman currently serves as the Medical Director of the Advanced Radiology Crain Towers Imaging Center. Dr. Gelman earned his M.D. at the University of Witwatersrand Medical School, Johannesburg, South Africa in 1980. He completed a residency at the University of Witwatersrand Medical School in 1987, and then attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine to complete a residency in Diagnostic Radiology in 1991. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology.

Georges, M.D.
Dr. Georges currently serves on the Advanced Radiology Board of Directors. Dr. Georges attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine, receiving his M.D. in 1988. He then completed a one-year internship in Internal Medicine at Greater Baltimore Medical Center. His radiology residency was completed at the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1993. He returned to Baltimore, where he completed a Fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1994. Dr. Georges is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by The American Board of Radiology.

Goldstein, M.D.
Dr. Goldstein currently serves as the Medical Director of the Advanced Radiology Towson Imaging Center. Dr. Goldstein attended New York Medical College and received his M.D. in 1984. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Maryland Hospital in 1989. Dr. Goldstein is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. His medical specialty interests are in Nuclear Medicine and P.E.T.

Goodman, M.D.
Dr. Goodman earned his medical degree at the University of Maryland in 1973. He completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at The University of Maryland Hospital, where he was Chief Resident in 1977. He then worked at University Hospital as the Chief of the Division of Ultrasonography until 1979. Dr. Goodman earned an MBA at Loyola College in 1993. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology since 1977.

Harris-McCorkle, M.D.
Dr. Harris McCorkle earned her undergraduate degree as a physician’s assistant at Johns Hopkins University. She attended West Virginia Medical Center for medical school and her radiology residency. Dr. Harris McCorkle attended the University of Maryland for a fellowship in Body Imaging. She is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with Nuclear Medicine Competency by the American Board of Radiology. She is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

Rahul Gupta, M.D.
Dr. Gupta received his medical degree from Indiana University in 2000. He completed his internship and his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI, where he also served as chief resident in 2004/2005. In 2006, Dr. Gupta completed a fellowship in Abdominal Imaging and Intervention at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where he was awarded the Douglass F. Adams Honorary Prize for his clinical and research skills. Dr. Gupta is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology.

Clifford T. Katz, M.D.
Dr. Katz received his M.D. at Johns Hopkins University in 1982. His residency in pediatrics was completed at the University of California-Marion Davies Children’s Center in Los Angeles, CA in 1985. He then returned to Baltimore , where he completed his radiology residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1989 and his fellowship in Neuroradiology in 1990. Dr. Katz is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with Added Qualifications in Neuroradiology by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Katz’s fields of expertise include Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Imaging and Body Imaging.

Stacey J. Keen, M.D.
Dr. Keen, a graduate of Yale University, attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine. After completing her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, she worked on staff at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. She has been board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology since 1984. Her special interest is breast imaging. Dr. Keen is the author of the recently published book, Defeating Breast Cancer: A Physician’s Story of Healing, Martial Arts,and Life.

Keramati, M.D.
Dr. Keramati is a 1971 graduate of Wake Forest University, Bowman Gray School of Medicine in North Carolina. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Dr. Keramati completed his fellowship in Gastrointestinal Radiology at the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis. He has been board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology since 1975.
