In November 1997, seven successful, geographically diverse, physician-owned radiology practices joined together to form the core of what is now known as RadNet. Each of these entities contributed their imaging center and administrative assets in exchange for ownership in the Company and our ongoing commitment to provide high quality, cost effective radiology and administrative services to their practices.

The National Support Center, our corporate office, is based in Dallas and provides functional support to all of our subsidiaries.

Originally, RadNet was called Radiologix, Inc.

Today, RadNet is a national company. Together with BRMG, we have a total of approximately 4,000 full-time, part-time and per-diem employees. We have a strong presence in all of our markets and, thanks to the efforts of our family of employees and member physicians, we've become one of the leading providers of radiology services in the United States.
